Benilubero Foundation, Inc. is a U.S based Non-Profit Organization registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and committed to helping the poor of the Beni-Lubero territories, North Kivu Province, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo ( former Belgian Congo).
The goal of Benilubero Foundation is to lift the people of Benilubero from poverty:
by empowering them to help themselves,
by providing material assistance to them including food, housing and clothing,
by providing services to them including education and health care,
by providing them training in the arts, culture, small business and banking development;
by providing material assistance in the building of a social center and amenities related thereto;
by providing programs to combat ignorance through modern means of communication including the internet, website, radio, television, films, documentaries, books and magazines.
The purposes of the Corporation are exclusively charitable, educational, religious, scientific and literary and to that end the Corporation may conduct such activities and programs in furtherance of the foregoing purposes as may be carried out by a corporation organized under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 180 and as may be permitted of a non-profit corporation under, and subject to the limitations contained in, Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and all rulings thereon applicable to and binding upon this corporation.
